I am well aware of the propaganda flood that is happening and still follow a handful of commentators like yourself that I still find compelling but so much of the media is just pointless noise now. I am reading more and more fiction as the year goes on and it is so much more enjoyable than being outraged 24/7. I am all for consequences but it's not exactly my fault any of this is happening either. The left took it to the streets and each according to their own standpoint theory stood to declare their real selves, finally they were able to declare their own post truth. It was everywhere. Allegedly it was being shoved down the throats of two year olds. Was there backlash? Oh yea,.
Needless to say the post truther folks declared gender a choice and the Dominionists pounced They were dizzy thinking of all the ways this post truth stuff could hurt the democrats.
Now they gathered up all this post truth spillage and put it in a sack to take back to the lab. While they were using clubs on this assemblage of evil ideas one wise guy snatched post truth out of there.If it was good enough for the president it would be good enough for TV. I knew about WMD gaslighting from Bush & Cheney long before I knew anything about goulash from the ivory tower. They needed a special office for that Intel. Too bad Colin Powell didn't pick up on it. I also know it goes way back before that. Trickledown? We are under such existential threat that we need an orders of magnitude larger national defense budget than every other country in the world? If that were true, why aren't we being attacked now, when we're years down in munitions? Is it because only the tiniest countries that get a nuke are now impregnable?
