We both have seen this coming and have been screaming into the mayhem for people to pay attention to this sedition (and, in addition, what the same group is doing with AI and Crypto). You say we have to continue to fight against it. We protest in the street, we write, we call, we boycott. What will dismantle what they have implemented? What will send them to their bunkers and panic rooms? Better yet, what will put them on trial for sedition? You basically say the same thing over and over: Yarvin is a broken human with an equally broken philosophy, techno-billionairea from SA want algorithmic apartheid, and Thiel's Palantir boys are busy in the techno trenches robbing us of our Constitutional government. But you do not once give any ideas for how to stop it. Thank you for the information on one of the Big Problems (crypto and AI are looming), however generalized. Now offer solutions, please.

Once again, an incredible clear-eyed analysis of the coup in progress with the language commensurate with the stakes. Required reading for any constitutional patriot.

The other part of this that's so dismaying is that these tech bros have absolutely no idea of the scope and essential nature of the largest governmental infrastructure of the largest nation ever to exist in the world. Their imaginations and educational backgrounds are woefully limited.

Yes, it's sedition, but it's also the willful destruction of an incredibly successful society (surpassed only by those of much smaller European countries). I suspect they realize this on some general abstract level, but after all, "we all have to die sometime", right?

One thing that I hope is happening is that federal employees, elected officials, lawyers both public and private are quietly formulating prosecution strategies and collecting concrete evidence for bringing civil and criminal suits against cabinet members, DOGE staff, ICE agents, Federal marshalls and others.

At the very least, folks can come up with sufficiently scary scenarios to make these people afraid that they might end up in jail. The DOGE/Palantir "One Database to Rule Them All" violates all sorts of internal federal privacy regulations, for example. If I were sharing an office with DOGE I'd be putting up anonymous posters with examples of regulations, how they're being violated, and what the penalties are.

In the meantime, we can all collect evidence such as filming any ICE activity we witness. More opportunities will come as demonstrations and protests start growing. Perhaps Blue states can start passing laws now to govern future LE activity (such as wearing masks and obscuring identification during protests.)

To the people who say openly that democracy is over and they want a CEO king: I have worked for several companies and non-profits. At best, hey are not better than honest government. Usually, they only care about their own pay and profit, are seldom open to feedback from those working for them, and are certainly not for empowering their employees and customers. Look at all of the companies that have gone belly up? You can be sure that there were people who saw it coming and were silenced.

Please set up a conversation with Kofman. The two of you can surely help make sense of this for more people than will read a long format piece.
