He sees no need to be "nice" to children because they haven't been socialized yet to intuitively understand that all trump wants from them is the narcissistic supply necessary to fill the black hole inside him where normal people have their self esteem. All it's done is consolidate wealth in a scarily small group of people, along with delivering shitty government and substandard economic growth. But they've been telling these lies for so long that the 30% or so of us who aren't intellectually equipped to deal with the current volume and velocity of information still believe them.
