Renovations at the Circus: Office Hours for Paid Subscribers
Hello friends — a quick update from the Circus.
I’m introducing something new for paid subscribers: Office Hours.
These will be small Zoom sessions where you can talk with me directly, one-on-one or in very small groups. Ask me to break down an argument, walk through a theory, workshop an idea, or just have a real conversation. My goal is to make this community feel alive — a place where we think together, not just in the comments, but in real time.
The first Office Hours session will be this week, and I’ll post time options soon.
If you’ve been considering upgrading to paid, this is a good moment to do so. It’s the best way to sustain the project — and it opens the door to these more intimate, rigorous conversations.
And as always: if you are genuinely intellectually engaged with the work but cannot afford a subscription, just DM me. I am more than happy to offer a comp. No judgment, no awkwardness. The Circus belongs to the people who care about it — not to the people who can most easily pay.

“Office Hours” elicits that Sinking feeling that comes with failed past attempts to procure a Bachelor’s degree in any of the Liberal Arts. Had I taken more advantage of that Open Door I very well might have chosen Hanging in There over Dropping Out. Social Uncomfortablities remain w/ me Now.
