The Secretary of State of the United States—chief diplomat of what was once a proud republic—has renamed the United States Institute of Peace after Donald Trump.
They have ALL LOST THERE MINDS..would somebody impeach these people..I mean they have all commited murder, stolen $$ from American people, broken so many horrendous laws.
Marco is like JD: against Donald right up until he realised that the only way to any significant pretence of power within the Republican Party was to kiss his tiny hands.
Wow. In 2023(?) Marco gave a spoke passionately at CPAC about Freedom of Speech & added a note that authoritarians lie to come to power in democracies, because if they told the truth they wouldn’t win.
His early press conference about deporting college students for OpEds was almost the perfect inverse of his CPAC freedom speech.
I’ve been meaning to make an overlay video of it for months. Sounds like it’s time.
I was pretty apolitical after leaving Rep. Griffith’s office, but I did donate to one candidate that I believed way across the country - Marco Rubio when he ran his primary against Charlie Christ.
I thought he was young, different, and had potential to transcend the two-party but same corruption system.
Well, he was young. But he was the opposite of the promise I saw in my 20s.
When people ask me “Who radicalized you?” - Marco’s name is way up there.
Rubio didn’t just step over a line. He sprinted past it, waving pom poms, and dove face first into the bargain-bin lava pit of moral bankruptcy. Renaming the Institute of Peace after Trump is the kind of choice a man makes when he finally gives up on pretending he has a spine and decides to cosplay as a decorative fern in the dictator starter kit.
This isn’t politics. It’s voluntary spiritual taxidermy. Rubio traded in his dignity for a souvenir photo with the guy who thinks bombing fishermen makes him a statesman. Once you choose that path, there’s no climbing back out. Moral hell has no exit sign.
The LAST thing Trump will be known for is peace. And the last thing Rubio will be known for is integrity. Every cabinet member in the Thanksgiving cabinet meeting is just as guilty as Rubio. It looked like a North Korean meeting of lackies praising the Dear Leader. How these people manage to look in the mirror much less hold their heads up in public is a mystery.
What else could we expect from a small man who goes cheerfully to work for the very man who humiliated him, in hopes of getting some of the scraps that fall under the big man's table? 🐶
Are we not watching a regime of immoral certainty each player who serves the leader and the quest for dominance climbing over each other to prove their loyalty and worthiness to advance the goals? If you observe each major player there is a sort of wild eyed determination to act, to announce the latest achievement, to attack the latest foe, to tear down the inconvenient obstacles, and advance the latest goal. All of this performed within an echo chamber of praise for the righteous path by a cast of willing power seekers after all — they are the regime! The kool-aid is strong and the thrill is great — “for gawd sake we fly in our own jets and my gawd —we ARE America!”
Are we not watching each one in their own right justify their actions with a cacophony of certitude and immoral conviction?
For each player is essentially the same — certain in their conviction, “ the before was then, this is the now baby, this is it — top of the heap!”
It takes a certain kind of person, they are those people, conviction is whatever brings them the reward, however achieved, the win is righteous.
This regime has a thought process no deeper than FOX and that’s a disaster of epic immorality, greed and ignorance.
You can sit all day and wonder why, who are these people, can’t they see who they are? No, they cannot.
I’ve had to pound this realization into my head, I’ve sat and asked the question why, who, how…
The answer in all it’s discouraging truth is — they are people you will never be, never know. Deal with it and get on with the here and now.
Don't cite Marco Rubio as if he were the only joker in the deck of cards, or the only rotten apple in a barrel of apples.
Within the dynamics of why things go bad, and become a dirty diaper, there is usually a "seed and soil" modus operandi. In our "garden" gone to weeds (i.e., the American government), a malicious and invasive weed called Trump grew and flourished in the soil of apathy, and indifference. Consider those high-risk milieu factors that favor malignancy. The grounds for our land to become "Trumpled" started with us. "We have met the enemy and it is us."
In this once stellar nation, a discussion of morality, freedoms, political behavior, and just about all things that matter, used to be fine, and not taboo. But how many of you have not had a person (family, friends, colleague) ask or demand NOT to talk politics. How superficial have we become. Let's just have a good time, eat until our bellies are as full as possible, imbibe alcohol to erase the concerns of the day, week, month, etc. "Don't get serious," has become a theme song.
In this milieu, it is no surprise to see others of weak virtue, of greed as the bottom line, of weak ego seeking power, of those who were brought up to hate difference or diversity, then become enamored of the stinkweed of Trump. The way you make your bed, is how well you sleep in it. We allowed our bed to become trash a la Trump. We invited an American Werewolf into our house to have dinner with us, and sleep over. Big surprise the next day when your children were gone, your wife raped, and your silverware missing.
So the story then escalates to where some of those on the Supreme Court lose objectivity, discard morality, and become gonifs (thieves). There goes one Branch of Gov't in the Separation of Powers.
Next, the House of Representatives and the US Senate Republicans join ranks. Power, Greed, Racism and who the hell knows what can lead such men and women to kiss the anal sphincter of the most dangerous POTUS in history and in my opinion, a POTUS most likely to lead us into WWIII. And there goes the Separation of Powers.
So why bother to focus on Marco Rubio when you have a band of thugs, not dislike those in the Third Reich (that's the one that would last a Thousand Years) who I am sure believe they are the Master Race.
Growing up, playing my parent's 78 rpm records, I remember the song "Don't Put the Blame on Maine, Boys." Assign blame where it properly belongs: Citizens >> SCOTUS >> House GOP >> Senate GOP.
The issue now is how to dissolve Trump's Third Reich and restore civility, honest, ethics and just plain kindness to our leadership.
▶︎ The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind. I believe an American public now crying out for what is right will not have learned their lesson that a nation of peoples who do not prioritize knowledge about those who govern them will fall prey to the scum of the world. They will suffer the destruction of the true, the beautiful, and the good and leave a Blade Runner legacy to their children.

I don't think there's any surrender or transformation here. Rubio can't give up on values he never held. He's a narcissist and a lover of power with zero principles. He was lying in 2016 when he opposed Trump on behalf of his supposed belief in a sound national security policy and American values, and he's lying now in 2025 when he professes complete fealty to a personality cult. If Rubio, or any other Republican official, had truly believed in serving the American people then they would have done so even if that service cost them in terms of personal ambition. Unfortunately, it seems they can suffer any degradation if it gets them that sweet campaign finance money or increases their chances of running for higher office.
Also I dont think he thinks in-terms of shame more like power. At the end it’s about power. long as his sad twitter or X doesnt write BS Christian quotes and he lives far away from FL. I honestly think he will be the scapegoat
They have ALL LOST THERE MINDS..would somebody impeach these people..I mean they have all commited murder, stolen $$ from American people, broken so many horrendous laws.
Little Rubio has sold his soul for wealth, power, and Authoritarianism.
I'll give Trump credit for this, he read Rubio like a book. What a small, small man.

Thanks for writing this. 🫡
Mike’s article inspired me to write this last night:

Marco Rubio has always been an idiot. He just used to try and hide it.

It’s happening, get busy, do what you can do.

There should be posters of him in every classroom with the caption. “Don’t let this happen to you “
He was always a coward
The path of the coward is a path to moral hell.
Also I dont think he thinks in-terms of shame more like power. At the end it’s about power. long as his sad twitter or X doesnt write BS Christian quotes and he lives far away from FL. I honestly think he will be the scapegoat
Never liked the guy and like him even less now.
Marco Rubio has been transforming into a toxic slime puddle for a long time.
Mike, Marco was always an opportunist!
Opportunists are amoral!
In critical times like these, moral values are everything!
