What makes you so certain about your conscious experience, your moral intuitions, the ground beneath your feet?

Look around. Our world is drowning in misinformation, polarized by certainties that tear families apart, shatter communities, and fuel endless conflict. Our survival—as individuals and as a species—depends on how we relate to certainty itself.

Consciousness, after all, is slippery. It's easy to mistake familiarity for truth, conviction for clarity, certainty for understanding. But genuine understanding begins precisely where certainty falters.

We'll journey through the elusive groundlessness of consciousness, confront the illusions of certainty, and explore an ethics grounded in humility—a practical necessity in our increasingly fractured world.

This is, after all, a philosophy blog.
